...An ancient Japanese demon race, known as the Aragami, have risen and are plaguing the city. By implanting organisms with blue seed-shaped talismans, the Aragami manifest themselves into ferocious monsters. Only the Terrestrial Administration Center, or TAC, can stop them. To do so, they recruit a young girl named Kaede who is from the Kushinada bloodline. However, she disappears so TAC finds Kaede's estranged twin sister, Momiji. She becomes a member of TAC, but does not realize her part. In the end, she will become a sacrifice in order to stop the Aragami.
